Membership

Our membership process is broken into two phases.  The first phase begins with our Pastor's Coffee.  It then moves into our 12 week Life at Sovereign Grace class.  The second phase is our induction phase, which includes a membership covenant and member interviews.  If you are curious as to why we take membership so seriously, please read this article by our pastor.

Our process is as follows:

Membership Phase #1: Life at Sovereign Grace Class

 

Part 1: Pastor’s Coffee  (Overview of Sovereign Grace)

Part 2: Delighting in Christ  (Who is this God in whom we delight?)
 

• Class 1-2: What we Believe and Distinctives of Sovereign Grace.
  

• Class 3-4: What we Believe and Distinctives of Sovereign Grace.

Part 3: Developing in Maturity in Christ  (How do we grow in our delight in God?)
 

• Class 1-2: Continuous Worship, Membership and Leadership in Community

• Class 3-4: Maturing in Community, Serving in Community, and Sacrificing in Community

Part 4: Declare Christ (How do we tell others of the God in whom we delight?)

• Class 1-2: What is the Gospel and how do I share it with others?
  

• Class 3-4: What is the Gospel and  how do I share it with others?
  

 

Membership Phase #2: Induction of New Members

 

• Step 1:  Complete member interview

• Step 2:  Get Baptized if you have not been

• Step 3:  Sign Covenant

• Step 4:  Come to Worship service for induction of new members
