Lead PastorChad Vegas is the founding pastor of Sovereign Grace Church. After completing his MA in Theology at Talbot, and being the high school pastor at RiverLakes Community Church, Chad was called to plant a church in Bakersfield. Administrative AssitantKaren Prine is the Administrative Assistant for Sovereign Grace Church. She has volunteered or worked in a church environment for the last seventeen years as a youth worker and as a ministry assistant. She brings to Sovereign Grace a heart to see others grow in their walk with Christ and see that growth overflow for the glory of God. She has been married to Randy since 1980, and they have 3 grown children and 1 grandson.

Children's Ministry DirectorAlyssa Oliver is the Children's Ministry Director for Sovereign Grace Chruch. Alyssa has been a volunteer with many ministries including high school, missions mobilization, and Sunday school for Sovereign Grace since its start. Alyssa looks forward to assisting the church and its children in any way she can. Alyssa is currently a nursing student at California State University, Bakersfield. Her greatest passion is to see the world reached with the word of God, and Lord willing, to serving in full time missions.

Office AssistantAshly Horner is the Office Assistant for Sovereign Grace Church. While attending Riverlakes Community Church she worked as the Junior High Ministry Assistant for 2 years and volunteered in the High School ministry. Ashly graduated from California State University, Bakersfield in 2007. Currently, Ashly is enjoying being a wife and mother. Ashly has a desire to love and serve the Lord well by loving and serving people. Ashly has been married to Russell since 2005, they have a son and are expecting another baby.
